Raghad, 9, from Idlib, Syria, works picking zucchini next to Abu Hussein Derobi tent settlement in Al Dalhamaya, home to about 450 people, most of who are children. She has been working in the fields for five months, six hours in the morning for 6,000LL and two and a half hours in the afternoon for 2,000LL. She was in the third grade back in Syria, but now works full time. “We are three brothers and three sisters, but my mom and I are the only ones working. My father is too old to work. I want to study and become an art teacher. I love studying art.” Al Dalhamaya, Lebanon, October 30th, 2013.
